Gabrielle Diakon: Empowering Equestrians through GMD Training and Mindful CoachingIngrid
Gabrielle Diakon, a dedicated equestrian and the founder of GMD training has established herself as a prominent figure in the equestrian community. With her focus on mindfulness and personal growth, Gabrielle has created a supportive platform for equestrians to overcome fear, anxiety, and other challenges.
Gabrielle’s journey in the equestrian world began at a young age. She first began riding at a pony camp when she was only four years old, immediately falling in love with horses. Through perseverance and overcoming personal obstacles, Gabrielle continued riding with lessons and eventually owned her first pony.
During her adolescence, Gabrielle remained dedicated to riding and started working at a competitive show barn. Despite setbacks and broken bones, she continued to persevere. Eventually, Gabrielle left her coaching position and began her journey coaching anxious horses and riders.
Through guidance from accomplished trainers like Lynn Palm and Kiera Wilson and traveling to Belgium as a working student, she advanced her skills in helping nervous horses and riders. All of Gabrielle’s hard work solidified her reputation as a compassionate and knowledgeable coach.
After a period of self-reflection following the loss of her mother, Gabrielle realized the profound impact of yoga and mindfulness. Determined to share her knowledge with others, she became certified in yoga and meditation. Thus, the beginning of GMD Training. Gabrielle combines her equestrian expertise with her passion for mindfulness to create a safe space for equestrians to thrive.
Gabrielle’s non-traditional approach places mindfulness at the forefront, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness, resilience, and a positive mindset in equestrian training. At GMD Training, Gabrielle’s coaching style embraces her students’ individuality and supports them through their challenges.
