Regina and Lynn, two lifelong friends with a shared passion for the horse industry, have joined forces to create The Horse Industry Podcast. With a combined 50+ years of experience in the industry, they bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to their listeners.
Both Regina and Lynn have been involved with horses since they were young. From 4-H beginnings to World Championships, they have lived and breathed the horse industry throughout their entire lives. Lynn started out with a purebred barnyard Shetland and eventually moved up to an Indian pony.
The Horse Industry Podcast: Sharing Over 50 Years of Combined Experience in the Horse World
She showed in 4-H and breed shows as a teenager and always dreamed of showing at the national level. In the mid-80s and 90s, Lynn worked alongside her husband Kevin to manage Cool Performance Horses, helping numerous youth and amateur horsemen reach their dreams of state and national titles in various disciplines.

After taking a break from horses to raise their sons, the Cools are still very active in the livestock industry, operating Cool Cattle Company. Lynn currently works as a Corporate Accounts Manager for a leading medical device manufacturer.
Regina’s love for horses began when palomino pony Buttercup arrived at her home on September 15, 1977. Over the years, she has shown in a variety of disciplines, earning multiple World Titles. Regina and her parents raised, trained, and showed stock-type overo Pinto ponies on the PtHA circuit in the 80s and 90s.

In recent years, Regina has shown in the amateur classes at both Pinto and Paint horse shows, and her daughter Lila is an AjPHA National Director. Regina has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Organizational Analysis, and has worked in higher education administration, instructional design, and as a professor for over a decade.
